The RV Technical Institute Attends Pennsylvania Association Of Career And Technical Administrators’ Career Readiness Symposium
The Pennsylvania Association of Career and Technical Administrators recently held their 32nd annual symposium earlier this month. The group promotes excellence in career and technical education as an integral part of the state system of economic and workforce development.
Exhibitors from statewide high schools and universities attended the event to share information on their vocational-technical programs. One of these exhibitors was the RV Technical Institute, the RV industry’s gold standard training curriculum. By attending symposium events like this one, the RV Technical Institute is continuing to recruit more people into the RV technician field, including recent high school graduates who are interested in the skilled trades.
Event attendees were largely high school administrators and career technician school administrators. Halle Edmister, the Institute’s Account Specialist, staffed the company’s booth along with James Lubomski, the Education Director for the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle & Camping Association. Both spoke with decision makers for Pennsylvania school systems.
“Many high schoolers are interested in an alternative career path to higher education, and events like this help provide them with information on all of the trade opportunities that are available to them after graduation,” says Edmister. “Our team at the Institute was happy to offer information on the RV technician career path to interested attendees. We enjoyed the Pennsylvania Association of Career and Technical Administrators’ symposium, and we look forward to attending their future events.”
