Registration has opened for the RV Technical Institute’s second 2026 Level 3 workshop. Focusing on the appliance specialty, the workshop will take place from Tuesday, May 19, to Thursday, May 21.
The course will be taught by:
- Dometic Academy Training Program: Water Heater (Traditional) (3 hours)
- Dometic Academy Training Program: Refrigerators (4 hours)
- Dometic Academy Training Program: Furnace (4 hours)
- Dometic Academy Training Program: Air Conditioner (5 hours)
- Truma: Water Heaters (Instantaneous, Hydronic & Combination) (8 hours)
Registration cost is $90.

Overview
This year’s Level 3 workshop series concentrates on three of the specialty areas for RV technicians interested in further developing their knowledge of RV systems and components. Level 3 trains attendees to perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on RV systems.
To make it easier to access Level 3 training, the RV Technical Institute first started hosting Level 3 workshops in 2024, with each one focusing on one of the five specialty areas. The series continues this year with a focus on three of the different specialties.
Each workshop will cover all training hours needed in the specific specialty area. After completing the training, each participant will have acquired enough hours to earn their Level 3 Specialty in that category. Those who complete their training in all five specialties will earn their Level 4 Master Certification.
For those unable to attend the RV Technical Institute’s workshops, additional Level 3 courses are still being offered year-round through the RV Technical Institute’s authorized supplier trainings.
