RV Technical Institute Shares RV Tech Career Path at Colorado School Counselor Conference
Last week, the RV Technical Institute attended the 2025 American School Counselor Conference in Dillon, CO. Over 800 individuals attended the conference.
The RV Technical Institute attended this event to connect with school counselors and administrators, as well as share information about the RV technician career path. The RV Technical Institute's ultimate goal in attending American School Counselor Conferences is to recruit the future RV technician workforce.
Earlier this year, the Institute also attended the American School Counselor Conference in Long Beach, CA.
By discussing the RV technician career with RVTI staff, school counselors gain the information necessary to guide interested high school students toward the skilled trades. Additionally, engaging in these events allows the Institute to connect with educational decision-makers who may integrate RVTI's curriculum into their high school programs. Students whose schools adopt the curriculum could earn their Level 1 certification before graduating, giving them a head start in the $140 billion RV industry.
“School counselor conferences continue to be a great opportunity for us to connect with the education community and inform them about the RV technician career,” says Katelin Richardson, the RV Technical Institute’s Account Specialist. “Many counselors—and high school students—may not be familiar with the RV industry, so this helps us spread the word and encourage our program to be adopted into high school curricula. Along with providing a unique career opportunity for students on the skilled trades path, this also allows us to help build the next generation of RV technicians and keep RV travelers rolling to their next destinations.”
