RV Technical Institute, RV Women’s Alliance Lead Level 1 Courses At Alliance RV
By leveraging the industry-leading curriculum of the RV Technical Institute (RVTI), Alliance RV recently hosted a specialized Level 1 training program designed to elevate the technical proficiency of its female team members. The trainings, conducted by trainers from the RV Technical Institute and the RV Women’s Alliance, center on RVTI’s gold-standard certification, which provides a rigorous, standardized foundation across the seven critical RV systems: propane, electrical, plumbing, appliances, body, generator, and chassis.
By equipping staff with these nationally recognized competencies, Alliance RV ensures that its "Allies" are backed by a workforce capable of performing high-level pre-delivery inspections, effectively bridging the gap between classroom theory and the gold-standard quality customers expect on the open road.
“We have enjoyed collaborating with Alliance RV and the RV Women's Alliance to lead these all-women’s courses,” says Halle Howard, Account Manager for the RV Technical Institute and a member of the RV Women’s Alliance. “These opportunities equip more women with the skills to succeed and foster enhanced confidence. We remain dedicated to supporting the incredible talent within the RV industry and look forward to future courses as we empower more women to embark on the RV technician career path.”
Likewise, Alliance RV was excited to welcome the RV Technical Institute and the RV Women’s Alliance for productive training sessions. “Our company places a strong emphasis on outside training, and programs like RVTI, in partnership with RVWA, play an important role in helping us meet our goals,” adds Charles Briggs, Alliance RV Quality Director. “As our industry continues to evolve, it’s essential that our team members stay current with the latest technologies, standards, and best practices. While internal training provides a solid foundation, external programs offer a broader perspective, exposure to industry-wide advancements, and access to specialized expertise that we may not have in-house. This helps ensure that our employees are not only competent but also confident and adaptable in their roles.”
“Both RVTI and RVWA provide structured, high-quality training that aligns closely with our operational standards and long-term objectives,” continues Briggs. “These programs reinforce technical skills, promote consistency, and support professional development in a way that directly benefits both our workforce and the customers we serve. By investing in these partnerships, we are strengthening our commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Ultimately, leveraging outside training resources like RVTI allows us to build a more knowledgeable and capable team, positioning our company for sustained success.”
For Alliance RV, education isn't just an internal initiative—it is a vital component of the overall customer experience. “Education is really the foundation of everything we do at Alliance RV,” explains Joe Mehl, Vice President of Marketing. “If you don't understand the foundation of an RV, it’s much harder to effectively sell or market one to people who might know more than you do. As we all know, RV shoppers are becoming more educated by the day with all the RV content being created. It's also amazing to have a co-founder like Coley Brady, who shares that same level of focus on education. We want to ensure our Allies have not only the best buying experience but the best camping experience out there.”
“When April Clark first approached me about getting our team involved, I immediately said yes,” Mehl recalls. “I have several team members who are relatively new to the RV industry, and I knew this training would be a game-changer for them as they help our Allies feel confident in their purchase and get the most out of their camping experiences.”
