RV Technical Institute Attends Tennessee School Counselor and Administrator Leadership Institute, Shares RV Tech Career Path
The RV Technical Institute recently participated in the Tennessee School Counselor and Administrator Leadership Institute in Murfreesboro, TN. Over 160 individuals attended the conference.
During the conference, the RV Technical Institute connected with school counselors and administrators, and, ultimately, shared information about the RVTI-certified technician career path.
The Institute provided information to school counselors to reach key audiences: high school students interested in the skilled trades and the educational decisionmakers who can integrate the Institute’s program into their curriculum. This would mean that students at schools with the Institute’s training program could even graduate with their Level 1 certification, giving them a major advantage in a booming industry.
“This past week was very productive! We informed school administrators, counselors, and staff about the RV technician career path, a field that they— and many high school students—may not be aware of,” says Kate Richardson, the RV Technical Institute’s Account Specialist. “Our goal is for conference attendees to pass this crucial information on to high school students, which would raise awareness about the need for skilled RV technicians and also encourages interested students to learn more about the RV technician career path. Additionally, attending events like this helps us recruit the next generation of technicians, ensuring RVers can keep enjoying their travels.”
