Level 4 Certification

Become a Master RV Technician

Level 4 certification is the last stop on your RV Technical Institute roadmap. It represents the pinnacle of technical expertise in RV maintenance and repair. The Master Technician is proficient in diagnosis and repair of all seven major systems and components within an RV, including:

  • Body
  • Generator
  • Chassis
  • Appliances
  • Propane
  • Electrical
  • Water

     

To Qualify

  • Technician must successfully pass Level 1 and 2 written and skill-based (practical) exams .
  • Technician must obtain Level 3 certification in all five designated specialties: Electrical, Chassis, Electronics, Appliance and Slideout.
  • Technician must complete the required hands-on training hours for each of the five specialty areas within five years: Electrical (24 hours), Appliance (24), Chassis (15), Electronics (15), and Slideout (15).
