RV Technical Institute Kicks Off Recruitment At RV SuperShow

Over the past two years, the RV Technical Institute has recruited over 2,200 new RV techs into the booming field. This week, the Institute will kick off recruitment efforts at the RV SuperShow in Tampa. Account Specialist Halle Edmister and Authorized Learning Partner Manager Justin Rickett are staffing the booth throughout the week to speak with consumers to educate them on training and career opportunities.

Additionally, attendees at the show will learn about the benefits of having trained and certified technicians service their units, particularly technicians trained on the RV Technical Institutes gold-standard curriculum developed by the RV industry experts with decades of experience.

“This is an awesome opportunity to spread the word about the RV Technical Institute to interested attendees,” says Halle. “The consumers who visit the show are already interested in RVing but they may not be aware of the RV technician career path. Our team is excited to share information on our training program and explain all the opportunities that this job offers.”

Maintaining a presence at major industry events such as the SuperShow continues to be an important part of the RV Technical Institute’s ongoing technician recruitment efforts. The program has seen immense success in five short years. The team is starting strong in the new year by speaking with interested SuperShow attendees throughout the week. Many of these consumers are already familiar with RVing and may be interested in starting new careers as RV technicians or as independent mobile techs.

The efforts this week are thanks to the Florida RV Trade Association who is sponsoring the RV Technical Institute booth at the Florida RV SuperShow.

“We value our relationship with the RV Technical Institute and are happy to give them the opportunity to have a booth in the SuperShow,” says Dave Kelly, Executive Director of the Florida RV Trade Association. “Recruiting RV technicians is more important now than ever and this gives the RV Technical Institute a great chance to talk to RVers about a career as a technician. We look forward to working with Curt and the entire Institute team.”
